Tattoo Twins

What do you do when you wake up at 4am with a random rap song stuck in your head that you haven't heard since who knows when and can't go back to sleep? Apparently, you blog, cause here I am.

I only know one line to said rap song. It's getting very old.

Yesterday Abby and I got tattoos together. I remember planning to get "sister tattoos" when she was turning 18. She's 22 now, so it's obviously taken us some time to think this out. But when you're putting something permanent on your body, it can't just be on a whim. Or for me it can't at least.

We've had lots of random ideas in the past but nothing that either of us just loved enough for a tattoo, until recently. We found a quote that I'm sure 99% of people can quote, tell you what book it's from, and when they heard/read this book. I know you're thinking that makes it sound too popular or cliche to get as a tattoo, but it's unique to us in our own way.

If you've spent much time around here, it's pretty obvious the bond my sister and I have. We are 4 years apart but we might as well be twins as far as we're concerned. She's my other half and best friend. Not that we needed ink to prove it, but it's exciting having a tattoo to show that off now!

Oh Hey There!

For all you wondering, I am still alive here. For all you who weren't, shame on you! The last month has flown by for me! Actually, this whole time in Nashville has gone by in a blink! Hence the absence from here, yet again. (I feel like every time I write something it's about why I haven't blogged or how busy I've been. Oops!)

As I was saying, it's been busy around these parts. Earlier in the month my BFF from high school, mom, sister, and aunt came for a visit. It was so good to spend time with them, and lots of fun was had!

A couple weeks later, some of my favorites came for a girls weekend here in Nashville. It was a party from start to finish that I think I might still be recovering from- no joke. And if you have never tried a party-bar-bike-thing, GO NOW! Absolute blast.

So instead of just telling you about these two events, here's a better update of my month in pictures.

Round 2:

In between the partying and loving on my people, I've been planning my next adventure! I'm heading out west with some fellow travelers; actually to the pacific northwest- SEATTLE here I come! I'm super excited for this next move. Any and all must see/must do advice is welcome.

Well that's my month in a nutshell. Now time to pack up my life so I can come stop by my favorite state! See ya soon, Texas!
