Hey y'all, I'm April! 

Welcome to Southern Sugar!
 A little about me…
 I was born & raised in a small East Texas town, but I moved to Dallas/Fort Worth for college and I haven't left yet. 
 I'm a RN working on a transplant unit in Fort Worth and I love it!  I absolutely love baking & decorating cookies! I mostly make them for fun but I have slowly started taking orders for these delicious babies! 
I'm a lover of most sports- football, baseball, and volleyball are my top 3! I recently started learning to play golf- so far, so good. 
Mexican food (and by that I mean Tex-Mex) and craft beers are my favorite. 
 I'm a mom to my furbaby Oliver. He's the coolest cat you'll ever meet! 

I've been blessed with the most amazing family and friends. Seriously! 
Most importantly, I'm a daughter of Christ and strive every day to live my life for Him.   About this blog…
